Strollers Home Page

Bank of Scotland Strollers FC ("The Strollers") play in the Edinburgh and Lothian Amateur Leagues. The Strollers squad is generally made up of "younger" club members, although there is no maximum age limit imposed.

During the Football Season (August to May), the Strollers normally train on Wednesday evenings at the Spartans Community Football Academy, off Ferry Road. Current start time is 6:00pm.

Pre-season training for the Strollers is normally held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday afternoons at the Edinburgh Academy playing fields on Arboretum Road. Locations and start times are confirmed at the time by email and on the website. The Edinburgh Academy playing fields also serve as the Strollers' and Vets' home pitches during the season.

The start of Strollers pre-season training is usually marked by an "Open Day", which gives colleagues interested in the Strollers a chance to have a closer look. The date and time of the "Open Day" is advertised annually on Groupnet and other Divisional intranets in advance. However, new players are welcome at any time throughout the season, and are encouraged to come along to a game or a training session at any time (without obligation) to see what they think.

The facilities at both Edinburgh Academy and Spartans are excellent. We are able to use Spartans for training throughout the year by virtue of the all-weather UEFA 2 star+ pitch. The grass pitches at Edinburgh Academy are among the best in Edinburgh.

Our coaching team are highly experienced and includes players who have played at a high level.
